The ANU Diploma of Computing is designed for students who are interested in studying a Bachelor of Information Technology at ANU. The diploma will provide you with a sound grounding in all the basic requirements for success in a degree in information technology including maths, information systems and computer science.

Upon successful completion of the ANU Diploma of Computing with no more than one fail or incomplete grade, students will be eligible to enter the second year of the Bachelor of Information Technology at ANU.

The ANU Diploma of Creative Design is an exciting new pathway enabling students to progress to ANU and follow their passion. The diploma prepares students with the skills and knowledge required to progress into the second year of a Bachelor of Design at The Australian National University’s College of Arts and Social Sciences.

Upon successful completion of the ANU Diploma of Creative Design with no more than one fail or incomplete grade and a GPA of at least 5.0, students will be eligible to enter the second year of the Bachelor of Design at ANU.

The ANU Diploma of Liberal Studies is designed for students who are interested in studying a Bachelor of Arts at ANU. The diploma will provide a strong foundation to progress into the 2nd year of a Bachelor of Arts.

Upon successful completion of the ANU Diploma of Liberal Studies with no more than one fail or incomplete grade and a GPA of at least 5.0, students will be eligible to enter the second year of the Bachelor of Arts at ANU.

The ANU Diploma of Music is an exciting new pathway enabling students to progress to ANU and follow their passion. The diploma prepares students with the skills and knowledge required to progress into the second year of a Bachelor of Music.

The ANU Bachelor of Music prepares you for the ‘portfolio’ career followed by most modern music professionals. A successful contemporary music career requires not only advanced skills in performance, composition, improvisation and other areas of creative practice, but also familiarity with music technology. It also requires the ability to work as an educator and facilitator or community music, and as a cultural entrepreneur.

Upon successful completion of the ANU Diploma of Music with no more than one fail or incomplete grade and a GPA of at least 5.0, students will be eligible to enter the second year of the Bachelor of Music at ANU.

The ANU Diploma of Science is an exciting new pathway into the Bachelor of Science. You will develop the academic knowledge and study, critical thinking and communication skills that support success at Bachelor level.

Bachelor of Science (Psychology)

What makes the human brain tick?

Find out with the Bachelor of Science (Psychology), which provides you with a great base in six different areas of psychology: developmental, social, personality, methods, cognition and biological.

In your later year courses, you’ll apply this knowledge and your skills in more specialised areas such as neuroscience, counselling, health and organisational (business) psychology.

Once you’ve completed your third year, you can apply to undertake an Honours year and pursue further postgraduate study. This will allow you to practice as a clinical psychologist.

Bachelor of Health Science

Honours in Information Technology is a program offered within the Research School Computer Science that offers students who have excelled in their undergraduate studies a challenging but rewarding year of study in computer science. The Bachelor of Software Engineering (Honours) is a four-year program accredited by Engineers Australia and the Australian Computer Society. Graduates will obtain skills and capabilities for professional software engineering practice, innovation and research. The program extends undergraduate studies in financial accounting, management accounting, auditing and taxation. Students undertake advanced coursework and a research thesis. The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree exemplifies the ANU commitment to research-led education.
