This course allows you to apply to the Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA) for the qualification of Associate Nutritionist; however, the NSA does not formally accredit courses. Graduates are also eligible for membership of the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology (AIFST).

When applying, you are required to pick one of the following streams of study from exercise science, community nutrition, food innovation and marketing. You can also consider studying the stream that may facilitate entry to postgraduate dietetics study. Customise your education to suit your goals
We know you need flexibility when you study; that’s why you can study some occupational therapy subjects online in your first and second year. You can choose to exit the course following successful completion of the first year of study with the Diploma in Health Science, or the Associate Degree in Health Science after two years of study.
You could enrol in the Honours program in your third or fourth year of the course. If selected, you will complete specific Honours subjects that replace standard subjects and develop your organisational, research and academic writing skills. Selection into the Honours stream depends on academic merit, the extent to which you have considered a potential project topic and the availability of appropriate supervisors.
This course is accredited by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia on behalf of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). To work as an occupational therapist, you must register for practice with AHPRA. The course is also accredited by Occupational Therapy Australia Ltd on behalf of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT).
The Bachelor of Pharmacy will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to work in rural, regional and metropolitan healthcare settings.

The Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology gives you the knowledge, skills and core competencies required to work as a professional exercise physiologist.
You’ll learn to determine clients’ medical and physical activity histories, perform pre-exercise screenings, use motivational interviewing to determine readiness for exercise, and perform health and exercise capacity assessments. You’ll also be prepared to design and deliver evidence-based exercise prescriptions, apply psychological strategies to promote lifestyle modification and behaviour change, and provide client education to prevent or manage cardiopulmonary, metabolic, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, as well as cancer and depression.

If you’ve not previously studied exercise science, and you’ve received your assessment of required assumed/learned knowledge from ESSA, enrol in the Diploma of Exercise Studies to complete the prerequisite study required for entry to the Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology.
