[:en]In a press release held on 16th March, the Ministry of Health stated that Singaporeans and permanent residents who are in urgent need of getting vaccinated can appeal for early vaccination against the Covid-19 virus.

Those who are looking to travel immediately for formal education or move overseas for occupational purposes and those who are in urgent need to travel to visit a critically ill family member or for their own medical treatment that is inaccessible in Singapore will be considered for the early access to the vaccine.

The vaccine has to be administered in two doses with a gap of three to four weeks in between each dose. Therefore, those who are planning to apply for early vaccines must make sure they have a minimum of 8 weeks time in Singapore before their planned departure date.
