Do you consider vet science to be of no different from any medical degrees? Well, I would say they are pretty much in the similar field as vet science studies involve pathology, infectious diseases and immunology, as well as diagnosis and treatment, medicines, surgical procedures and nutrition. Thus, for someone who simply adores animals, has a few pets at home, and is thinking of studying vet science, then think again - a vet is a doctor to animals!

The study of vet science, you can imagine, is equally as intense compared to other medical degrees. This unique program with The University of Queensland is Australia’s only accredited undergraduate offering that qualifies you to practice as a veterinarian locally and internationally.

Become a Vet
Veterinarians are compassionate, insightful and highly capable professionals who work with companion, domestic, exotic, wildlife and production animals. They deal with messes (I meant poo and pee) and are good communicators as they have to interact with humans too.

If you’re looking for an innovative, forward-thinking veterinary program, you can be confident UQ is the right choice for you.

UQ will be in Singapore for our AECC Global Overseas Education. Come speak to them directly and find out more!
